“He continues to be closely followed by his doctors. Can we read in the press release issued by CH that in this regard, he should go to CHUM from time to time for utility follow-ups.”

Thanks to the supporters

The Laughlour family also wanted to express their heartfelt gratitude to Canadian supporters for their sympathy and love for the “Blonde Demon”.

In a text message sent to Newspaper Yesterday, Guy Laughlor said “I’m fine, but tired.”

Legendary No. 10 has been battling lung cancer for almost three years, when he was diagnosed with a quadruple heart bypass.

Mr Laughlor was diagnosed with the disease in October 2020.

Mr. Laughlour’s last public outing, now 70 years old, took place in Quebec last October. The No. 4 he wore with Remparts during his junior internship was later immortalized by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

In an emotional speech, he said it was “the struggle of his life.”
