Intermediate and family-type resources: An agreement reached in principle

Quebec and the Federation of Health and Social Services (FSSS-CSN) on Friday reached an agreement in principle regarding the funding and terms of service facilities of Intermediate Resources (IR) and Family-Type Resources (RTF).

The agreement aims to renew two collective agreements for these services, one for children and the other for adults.

“I thank the negotiating team for allowing me to submit this provisional agreement. It shows that as service providers we care about resource concerns by providing better working and exercise conditions, but also customers who are entitled to care and assistance. High quality services,” Sonia said in a press release. Label the Minister responsible for public administration and the Chairman of the Board of the Treasury.

As always for this type of agreement, the details will not come out until everything is agreed by the union members.

“Intermediate resources and family-type resources are important partners in the health and social services network. This agreement can improve the quality of services and the well-being of customers, as well as meet changing needs,” said Margaret Blaise, a minister responsible for seniors and caregivers.

FSSN-CSN represents 1,268 resources, i.e. 754 intended for children and 514 for adults.
