Legalt continues to provoke the anger of anglophones

Luke Laoi believes that by refusing to participate in the debate in English, paving the way for the abolition of exercise, Franకోois Legalt will contribute to increasing dissatisfaction among English-speaking Cubans.

“The bad mood in the English-speaking community in Montreal is really evident. She’s really been there. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen her during this time,” said a co-host of Friday’s La Jout “show.

According to Luke Laoi, in order to protect the French language, it is unfortunate that the Legal government is harming English-speaking citizens. He cited the cancellation of funding for the Dawson College expansion project as another example of Mr. Legalt’s anglophobic attitude.

“I think this is really the bizarre face of nationalism,” Jouster declared.

His colleague Stephen Bedard, however, was not of the same opinion.

“There is no Anglophone company that suffers from underfunding,” he argued.

Canceled projects are everywhere. Bédard adds. According to him, he refuses to cry about the fate of English-speaking companies, which are usually very lucrative.

Yasmin Abdelfadel, for her part, was critical of the attitude of Franకోois Legalt, who openly stated that he was canceling funding for the Dawson College project in favor of French-speaking organizations.

According to Jouster, the prime minister has fueled unnecessary divisions in Quebec’s population.

“He decided we had to choose between anglophones and francophones rather than playing the inclusive card,” Ms. Abdelfadel said.
