It is now mandatory to wear a mask or face cover during outdoor activities between people who do not live at the same address.

The move is part of a series of new sanctions announced by Prime Minister Franకోois Legalt at a press conference on Tuesday evening, but has not been recognized.
It affects Quebecs living in the Red Zone or Orange Zone.
“People who do not live at the same address and practice sports or recreational activities together are required to wear a mask or face mask”, we read on the government website.

People sitting more than two meters away, such as in the park, however are exempt and can remove their face mask.
In the red and orange zone, public meetings are prohibited in private homes, except for people living alone with their dependent children.
