The College of Physicians explains in a newsletter that the decree passed by Quebec does not adequately protect its members’ right to practice license against Kovid-19.
“It specifically prohibits the conduct of tele-consultations and the follow-up of the results of tests or laboratory tests,” the professional order states.
The college estimates that 3% of its members are not vaccinated, which equates to approximately 600 physicians. The vast majority of whom are still active physicians, the firm stressed.
“It is now your moral duty to take care of your patients and their files from that date to this date.
The body says it is still waiting for “specific details” on the application of the decree.
In fact, a decree published Friday at the end of the day bans teleworking for all targeted health workers.
The message is clear: Non-vaccinated employees cannot skip their unpaid suspension on the health network. This principle applies to health care workers, as well as to physicians. They are not a separate category, ”the Office of the Minister of Health explained.
At the F desdration des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec, we agree with the measure. The vaccine, a spokesman explains, implies “moral responsibility”.
