Microsoft teams support carplay integration and device switching for calls

Microsoft Updated today Its Microsoft Teams software makes it easy for companies and their employees to stay in touch with each other to add improvements to team calling.

The Calls app has been tweaked to bring all the important phone call information in one place. It includes dial pad, call history, voicemail, contacts and settings for better call workflow.

Call recordings can be shared on OneDrive and SharePoint, and there is a new spam detection tool that assigns potential spam calls so that they can be ignored. Teams “digitally verify” outgoing calls to prevent them from being rejected by external recipients.

Of interest to Apple users, Microsoft added Carplay Support to allow teams to call and receive customers in the car. Carplay allows Siri And the built-in vehicle controls to place and answer calls. Carplay integration is coming soon.

Teams will support transferring calls between mobile and desktop in 2021, a useful feature for those who need to change locations to complete a call. Other new features include a call integration to simplify multiple conversations, a lower data mode for data protection purposes, and an improved reverse number lookup feature that displays the caller name.
