MSI unveiled its full family cases. Its first special feature is support for USB 3.2 Gen 2 × 2 standard, which offers transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps.
Rather than some people consider in detail, we can observe that MSI, like its competitor Asus, continues to expand its commercial territory by opening new product lines.
MSI: Full range of PC cases
MSI series boxes are smart and unlike this USB story we can not really say that they are different with their reality.
In its entire family of boxes we benefit from the Type-C port, which we also began to find on most motherboards. MSI USB 3.2 Gen 2, on the other hand, highlights Gen 2 × 2 support. USB 3.2 Gen 2 transfer speed is 10 Gbps while USB 3.2 Gen 2 × 2 transmission speed is 20 Gbps. Shoe Pinch means that the current MSI motherboards only support Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2’s 10 Gbps transmission speeds. However, it is like a gamble. USB 3.2 Gen 2 × 2 will soon be the norm.
It is difficult to say whether this argument will be sufficient to determine future buyers of MSI boxes.
In the meantime, we are posting a summary table of range instructions with the product sheet of each reference here:
