Netflix and video game publisher Riot Games on Monday unveiled the animated series project set in the “League of Legends” universe, which is a very popular game and the basis for many sports competitions.
The two partners said in a press release that the cartoon, called “Arcane”, will be launched worldwide by the end of 2021.
This will be the first attempt at riot games into the audiovisual world. Produced and produced by Riot Games Animated Series in collaboration with Productions by French studio Forti, it has previously worked with Riot and other game publishers and also developed the animated series for Marvel Studios.
