Pierre Brassard, who was acting as the Prime Minister at that time, Jean Chretien spoke to the British Emperor for seven minutes.

“I have zero, zero regrets,” the comedian said in an interview on Show Le Bilan, nearly 27 years after the hoax.

“We were four kids, joking around like we delivered pizza to the neighborhood, but the whole world talked about it,” he says.

Indeed, the story spread around the world and was picked up by many international media, allowing Blues Poudre to enjoy a completely unexpected platform.

“I was able to go to Italy, on a talk show, to tell 5 million Italians,” says Pierre Brassard.

“For me, it was like the Pope, like Jean-Bertrand Aristide and Brigitte Bardot; It’s another trophy, but Rani, I think that’s the ultimate role,” he says.
