Ranked in the Lance Stroll sprint race

Quebec Lance Stroll finished 14th in England on Saturday in the first sprint event in Formula 1 history.

As a result, the Aston Martin team driver will start Sunday from the same location at the British Grand Prix. Fifteenth at the start of the sprint, Stroll is still ranked due to the retirement of Sergio Perez (Red Bull).

Some overtakes occurred after the first 10 laps of the Silverstone track. Quebecker spent most of his time resisting Carlos Sciences (Ferrari), who discovered himself after his ision with George Russell. In the end the Spaniard was ahead of him.

“Getting extra space is a challenge because the field is tight and we end up with longer cars. The positive thing is that the short race gives us some interesting data that allows us to make the necessary corrections,” Stroll said.

History for Verstappen

Saturday race winner Max Verstappen also took a prominent place in his Red Bull car. He got his hands on three points in the stands.

Lewis started before Hamilton (Mercedes), but the Dutch young man stole him from his first position. Verstappen is ahead of his rival and other Mercedes of Valteri Botas.

The race was just 17 laps long and was completed in 26 minutes. The stroll is still more than 52 seconds longer than Verstappen. Quebecois teammate, German Sebastian Vettel finished eighth with his share.
