In the middle of a construction holiday, Scotiabank customers were unable to receive their pay on Friday, but the firm was able to resolve the issue later in the day with an apology.
“We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience […]. We have resolved a technical issue affecting our customers' incoming payments. Customers will start seeing their payments posted to their accounts,” said Scotiabank on social media.
“All expenses incurred as a result of this issue will be reimbursed,” the Toronto bank promised.
