Shapovalov conceded defeat in the Geneva final

Ontario Denis Shapovalov lost to Norwegian Caspar Rood 7-6 (6), 6-4 in two sets at the Open Final in Geneva, Switzerland on Saturday morning.

Ranked 15th^E World Rocket and 2^E Tournament seed Shapovalov trailed 2-6 in the first set tiebreaker, but was unable to return the ball on the fly at 6-7.
