In France, the THIN Observatory, comprising 2,000 general practitioners and 1,000 professionals, provides medical care for all health care players, pre-launch studies, samples of patients with rare diseases, epidemiological observatories, academic studies, and connection with city instruments.

Today, 20 research projects are underway (Alzheimer’s disease, awareness of sarcoidosis, detection of rare diseases, etc.). The THIN database also uses state services (ANSM, CEPS) on an ongoing basis.
