The VideoTron Center in Quebec City will be able to watch 3,500 fans live on Friday, on a big screen, watching the Stanley Cup finals between the Montreal Canadians and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The live broadcast of TVA Sports is expected to be on the Amphitheater’s “Zombotron”, although the necessary powers have been obtained from the National Hockey League (LNH).
“Over the past 48 hours, we have been in talks with the NHL to discuss the conditions for accommodating fans at the VideoTron Center and agree that this project is possible by allowing tickets, alcohol and food to be sold,” said Martin Tremblay, COO of Quebecore Sports and Entertainment Group, in a press release for the festival. We are delighted to respond to the call of many fans who will be meeting at the VideoTron Center, fully respecting the health measures that are still in place, from public health. ”
Tickets are on sale Thursday
Tickets go on sale gestev.com July 11 at the expense of taxes and fees, from noon on Thursday, July 2 to Friday and July 5 to Monday games.
All proceeds will be donated to the Quebec Reports Study Fund, the Montreal Canadians Children’s Foundation and Pignon Blue.
