US coronavirus update: Latest on cases, deaths and reopening

  • New lockdown in the Spanish capital: Parts of Madrid are in the process of a new lockdown that will affect approximately 850,000 people in the city over the next two weeks.   • Implications in France: French coronavirus cases are on the rise, according to the French Health Authority website. He said there would be 50,000 new cases per day by the end of October and more than 200 deaths per day by November.
  • What Germany is doing for the fall: The German health minister aims to introduce additional measures to combat Kovid this fall. Jens Span, in an interview with the Post newspaper by Renees, described introducing these measures as “temperature ambulances”, places where people with Kovid symptoms can get Kovid tests on the spot.
