The animal is depicted wandering between the houses of the village residents.

A contact told TVA Novelles that the bear has caused panic among the population.
Although the polar bear looks very cute and charming, the animal is very dangerous, especially when it enters the inhabited areas.

A lot of photos made it onto Kujuwak's Facebook page. The animal was then a few meters away from the residents.
However, according to the Nunavik Police Department, the bear had to be shot dead by citizens.
Marilyn Tetrelt, a mother who lives in Kujuwak, said the mammal was hiding near her children's daycare.
One Internet user told TVA Novelles, “Polar bear encounters are often fatal. “It's almost a miracle he wasn't hurt.”
Because of this, the bear was shot and killed “within an hour of the first sighting.”
But the police confirmed that there are two more bears in the village.
