Ubisoft Canada CEO resigns amid harassment claims made against several employees

“The new allegation that have appear to gentle in Canada in opposition to numerous staff members make it not possible for [Mallat] to go on in this position,” the assertion said.

Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft’s president and founder, will act as the Canadian chapter’s interim president.

“Ubisoft has fallen short in its obligation to promise a risk-free and inclusive office natural environment for its workers. This is unacceptable, as harmful behaviours are in direct distinction to values on which I have under no circumstances compromised — and hardly ever will,” Guillemot stated in the assertion. “I am fully commited to implementing profound changes throughout the Firm to increase and reinforce our office lifestyle.”

Before this week, the enterprise reported its Toronto-based vice-president of editorial, Maxime Beland, had resigned and a different unknown staff in Toronto was fired.
