Heavy snowfall in the south of the province complicated travel on Monday morning and users of the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) were not spared.

In fact, intermittent REM was down for several hours in both directions between Brossard and Gare Central due to weather conditions.
A shuttle service has been made available to the public to facilitate travel.
According to information obtained by TVA Nouvelles, the sudden and difficult stopping of trains approaching stations causes problems with the platform screen door system.
