An elected representative of Mark-Aurel-Fortin in Laval sees the withdrawal of his responsibilities from the National Defense Committee of which he is a member.

“Members of the Liberal Caucasus are aware of the importance of respecting and beyond the health and safety measures put in place by all levels of government. Therefore, members of the Liberal Caucus have been informed to avoid unnecessary international travel and I am deeply disappointed to learn that Yves Robillard has decided to travel out of the country without complying with this measure,” he said. Chief Liberal Whip Steven McKinnon announced.

“Even if the MP is fully vaccinated, his trip will not be considered mandatory, so he will be removed from his post on the parliamentary committees. I would like to discuss this matter further with him when he returns, ”Mr McKinnon added.

Exactly one week ago, two months after the Ministry of Transport withdrew its advice on October 22, on December 15, it re-introduced its advice against unnecessary foreign travel.

“For those who want to travel, I tell you very clearly: this is not the moment,” Federal Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos announced last week.
