The singer announced on Tuesday morning that she was postponing the premiere of her new show and canceling several tour dates due to medical reasons.
According to a statement, she “suffers from severe and persistent muscle aches that prevent her from getting on stage.”
“I know she’s interested in finding her fans, she’s excited to be back on stage, but she would not do that if she’s not 100% in shape,” Claude Dion said in an interview with TVA Nouvelles.
However, the singer’s sister was not worried about her health.
“I’m not worried, because if we had the slightest concern, we already had medical details to tell you,” she said.
Claude Dion said the singer was already having problems with “her muscles, legs and feet” due to the steep incline of the stage she was performing at her last residence in Las Vegas.
However, she believes that “her great professionalism and passion for living will ensure that she has all the tools and form she needs to bring this passion to live safely.”
