Alleged sexual harassment | The Governor of New York will soon be tried by justice

Andrew Cuomo is expected to answer investigators’ questions at the New York State Attorney General’s Office, a signal that began an investigation four months ago that could enter its final stages. New York Times Quoting familiar sources on the subject.

The lawyers who handed over the investigation collected the testimonies, emails, messages and other documents of several women who are making allegations against Andrew Cuomo, the newspaper continued.

The Democratic governor, who appeared as a hero in 2020 in the fight against COVID-19, is today embroiled in a series of scandals and the deadliest crisis in his political career.

Since February, eight women have denounced Mr. Cuomo’s indecent acts and words, accusing him of denial.

Former adviser Lindsay Boylan said in a February blog post that she was harassed while working for the administration from 2015 to 2018.

According to her, Andrew Cuomo kissed her in an unwanted manner, suggesting that she play with him in “strip poker” and “increase attempts to touch the back, arms, legs”.

Another former health adviser, Charlotte Bennett, 25, 63, asked the governor in June 2020 if he was willing to deal with women from the age of twenty with her vision of such a difference in age.

Mr. Cuomo never tried to touch her, she understood that he “wanted to sleep with her (her)” and “was very uncomfortable and scared”.
