Biden warned that the spread of monkeypox was ‘significant’

As part of his trip to Asia on Sunday, Joe Biden warned of the possible “consequences” of the monkeypox outbreak, which has been found in dozens of European countries, including Australia, Canada and the United States.

The American president, who is leaving South Korea for Japan, explained on Sunday that US health officials had not fully informed him of the “exposure level” of the virus to the United States.

Speaking to reporters before boarding Air Force One to fly to Tokyo, he said, “But this is something that everyone should be concerned about.

“If it spreads, it’s important,” he added.

Monkeypox, a less dangerous relative of smallpox, has been eradicated for about forty years, at first having a high fever and quickly evolving into rashes, especially scabs on the face.

There is no cure, but this viral infection will cure itself.

The WHO, as well as Australia, Canada and the United States, reported cases on Friday in at least eight European countries, according to countries whose existence is unusual. It is generally considered “native” in 11 African countries.
