Biden's Communications Director Resigns

Joe Biden’s communications director, an early supporter of the US president, will soon leave the post, the White House announced Wednesday, a significant departure four months into the dangerous midterm elections.

The kingpin of Joe Biden’s campaign, the Democratic president’s communications director, Kate Bedingfield, will leave the White House at the end of July to “spend more time with her husband and young children,” an American executive said.

“Without Kate Bedingfield’s talent and tenacity, Donald Trump might still be in the White House,” Joe Biden’s chief of staff, Ron Klein, praised. “She will be instrumental in advancing Biden’s agenda from the outside,” he said.

Interim resignations are not uncommon in the White House. But this faithful departure among the Democratic leader’s faithful points to dysfunction in the executive system that many American media reports.

The White House has not announced who will back the unpopular Joe Biden, whose progressive camp has increasingly attacked him for helplessness in the wake of the federal repeal of abortion rights and the shootings that have mourned America.
