The artist received the crown at Junos last weekend, where she received the Artist of the Year award, saying in a Facebook post that it was sad to announce it at the last minute.

“It’s very sad to have to cancel a concert tonight at El Imperial for health reasons. I went to Quebec City this morning, trying to push myself to fight the symptoms that were already strong for 24 hours. I could not get through the soundcheck because I was so weak. It was the second concert on the tour that I had to cancel due to illness and it broke my heart. I’m sorry, ”she wrote to her fans.

Typically, Charlotte Cardin will have three other concerts to present on the L’Imperial stage. But nothing is less sure. “I pray to be fit enough to be able to perform concerts [jeudi], Friday and Saturday. We will keep posting to you, ”she added.

The 27-year-old artist won in Toronto on Saturdays and Sundays, winning four Juno Awards. She has received trophies for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Pop Album of the Year and Album of the Year.
