Christine Labrie, QS new parliamentary leader

Quebec Solidair (QS) MNA has announced the appointment of Christine Labrie as parliamentary leader, replacing Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois.

“She has the important qualities of a good parliamentary leader: she is able to build bridges with other parties when the proper functioning of parliament is needed and is able to strongly defend her solidarity colleagues when needed,” the spokeswoman said.

The solidarity member, who will take office in early August, will oversee the files and discuss the bills during the next parliamentary session in September.

“I assure you that the concerns that citizens share with us will be reflected in the work of the National Assembly, and that the Government will listen and listen to what they have to say to us in this area,”^{To me} Labyrinth.

The 33-year-old solidarity member is the fifth woman to be parliamentary leader in Quebec.
