Facebook integrates Messenger with Instagram’s direct messages

Photo-sharing platform Instagram on Wednesday launched the option to connect Instagram direct messages with Messenger. One can now send messages from Instagram to messenger people and send it around another way.

Facebook Announced update in a Blog post. Some users will see this feature when they open the app. Users can still keep them Messiah And Instagram DMs will separate if you want to do so.

However, if the user updates, some simple messaging experience on Instagram will be similar to Messenger. Instagram users get features like message forwarding and customizing chat threads with custom colors and nicknames.

A bunch of new features including Selfie stickers, See together (Which allows you to watch trending videos with friends) and disappearing mode, which allows you to set messages to disappear automatically after a certain amount of time has been added. Facebook said some of the features will come first to Instagram and then to Messenger soon.

The merger will make it easier for people using one of those platforms to reach and connect with people on other platforms, without having to download a special app. In addition, messages and calls from Instagram to Instagram users are included in the Instagram app.

However, there is no mention of Facebook encryption as part of this update. According to Wired, the company plans to add end-to-end encryption to Instagram in the future, but there is no clear timeline yet.

Facebook will introduce this update to users in the next few months.
