The trailer shows Obi-Wan Kenobi taking refuge in Tatooin 10 years after the dramatic events that led to the fall of the Jedi Order, but also shows the corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker. The evil Sith is forced by disguising himself as Lord Darth Vader.

The series, which opens May 25 on the Disney streaming platform, also features investigators on Vader’s payroll, some of whom appeared in a video game. Jedi Fallen Order, Launching in 2019 on PC, Xbox and PS4. The investigation used to uncover whether the Jedi is still alive also occupies an important place in the trailer unveiled this Wednesday.

The series, directed by Deborah Chowdhury, also hints at Hayden Christensen’s return as Darth Vader, although we do not see him in the scenes that have been unveiled so far.

Other cast members include Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Verma, Rupert Friend, Oshi Jackson Jr., Sung Kong, Simon Kessel and Benny Safdi.
