Ralph Lauren ended his partnership with golfer Justin Thomas at the Sentry Tournament of Champions last weekend.

“We are disappointed with Mr. Thomas’ recent remarks, which are completely contrary to our values,” the American company that specializes in clothing said in a press release.
“Although he acknowledges the seriousness of the apologies and his words, he is our brand’s paid ambassador and his actions contradict the inclusion culture we promote.
“Reflecting our responsibility to our shareholders, we have decided not to sponsor Mr. Thomas for the time being.”
The American golfer was heard on the golf channel network after missing a putt in the third round of the Sentry Tournament of Champions. He later apologized.
“It simply came to our notice then. First, I want to apologize, said the 27-year-old American. There is nothing that can forgive my gesture. I’m an adult and I have no reason to say this. This is horrible. I was so embarrassed. This is not me. Unfortunately, I did and I have to accept it. I’m sorry. “
Thomas and Ralph Lauren have been partners since 2013.
