Pierce Brosnan in Black Adam | For the love of the game

James Bond, Thomas Crown, Remington Steele.

[…] He is DC’s most powerful wizard and one of its oldest characters. Its mythology fascinates me. The joy of being immersed in that world every day while filming in Atlanta. We are wondering how the film will end. »

The actor emphasized that he developed a strong bond of friendship among his colleagues, especially the JSA. “I could be their father, their grandfather… There are so many changes in life and as an actor, you do them all the time. But there are more meaningful moments that can be seen and physically felt. I don’t have to play group dean. I’m my age, Mr. Brosnan insists calmly. Their happiness and enthusiasm benefited me a lot. I wish them every possible success. »

In this film, the friendship between Kent Nelson and Carter Hall, aka Hawkman is also very strong. “To me, that’s one of the most interesting aspects of the story,” Brosnan said. The relationship between these two people who have known each other for ages is powerful. It’s hard to talk about, because you don’t want to reveal too much, but the fact that they know their destiny only adds to the love they have for each other. »

“I really enjoy working with Aldis. He gave everything. He is simply extraordinary,” adds the 69-year-old actor.

When asked if he intended to continue acting in action films, Mr. Brosnan replied, “I would love to work as an actor.” “I’ve done big movies that a lot of people have seen and some movies that haven’t really been seen. But the joy of being an actor is enough for me. Action, comedy, drama…the important thing is to play as many different roles as possible,” he concluded wisely.

Black Adam It hits theaters on Friday, October 21.
