Quebecars celebrate the end of the curfew in the original manner

Many Quebeckers chose to meet on the newly opened terraces or to meet in a park when the curfew ended on Friday evening, while others preferred to celebrate the deconfinition in a more unusual way.

Midnight ice cream in Granby

Between 5pm and 3pm many citizens were able to get an thank you for the initiative proposed by the ice cream i.e. Monsieur Grizzly organization.

“As the context of the pandemic has affected the mental health of many and the curfew is having a negative impact on it, we want to raise donations for it,” the Dairy Bar said in a Facebook post.

All profits from this evening were donated to the Foundation du Center Hospitalizer de Granbi.

Picnic and comedy show at Baldwin Park

The next generation of Quebec comedians decided to perform outdoors on Friday evening by giving their first free performance at Baldwin Park in the Montreal Plateau-Mont-Royal borough.

Many comedians followed each other in front of an audience seated on blankets with their picnic.

This evening is the first in a series of performances offered by Picnic & Humor Group at various parks in the city over the coming weekends.

Fireworks at Laurier Park

Another plateau-Mont-Royal Park, another climate, saw many people gather at Laurier Park to watch the fireworks display to celebrate the end of the curfew in the province.
