Queen and Adam Lambert rearranged the classic song with ‘You Are The Champions,’ which is dedicated to health care workers

Brian May, Adam Lambert and Roger Taylor released the video Thursday.

Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert worked together to release “You Are The Champions” on Thursday, in a new version of the classic song.

All proceeds from the song will go to the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.

Queen and Lambert are scheduled to be at the European feet of their Rhapsody tour, but the ongoing pandemic is causing the musicians to delay the date. This song, however, was recorded while May, Taylor and Lambert all isolated themselves in separate cities.

This 2½-minute video begins with dedication to frontline workers: “To all of you frontline warriors fighting corona viruses around the world.” The video then switches to a split screen of three May, Lambert and Taylor performing the song.

The group aims to raise $ 7.5 million over 60 days. After just one day online, the goal was more than half met.

They are not the only ones who turn to music in the middle of a pandemic.

The internationally renowned Nigerian singer, Davido, released his new music video, “Dolce & Gabbana,” last month, and announced that all proceeds from the sale will be distributed to Dolce & Gabbana and Humanitas Together for the Coronavirus Research fund.
Singer U2 Bono wrote a new song in March, called “Let Your Love Beknown,” which is dedicated to frontline health workers and anyone who struggles.
