Mr. Roberz’s plan, which will be updated in August based on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic in Quebec, also provides school institution closure, virtual class termination and return curricular activities based on consistent class groups.

Measures for academic success

In early May, Mr Roberz announced a total of 110 million measures to contribute to academic success. Of this amount, $ 60 million was invested to continue the tutoring program set up this winter. In particular, the government entered into a $ 8.8 million partnership in two years with the Quebec Network for Educational Success to set up educational activities this summer.

The Minister of Education announced last month that students will have two phases again in the coming academic year, the first with 40% weight and the second with 60%. Minister reviews with reduced weight will also be reinstated.
