The Green Party of Canada seeks to rescind the abolition of mediation, and on Monday, a vote of confidence in place of its leader Annami Paul indicated this arrangement in a letter sent Wednesday to its members.
“We are writing to inform you that the Green Party of Canada and the Green Party of Canada Fund have filed a lawsuit in Ontario Superior Court.
The mediator exceeded his powers by canceling the confidence vote and membership review scheduled for July 20.To me Paul referred to the Green Party of Canada fund last weekend in documents filed in Ontario Superior Court.
“We understand that it is the opinion of the leader that the party adheres to certain rules of controversial privacy. Therefore, at this time we will not give you more details about the nature of the policy,” he wrote in a letter from the Green Party.
Canadian Green Leader Annami Paul was relieved Monday after her party announced it was suspending a vote of confidence in her.
The vote of confidence began as the leader did not publicly condemn the remarks made by the former adviser to other party members. This advisor has been severely criticized for his pro-Palestinian position in some of his colleges.
Internal strife that rocked the party led to the departure of Fredericton MP Jenica Atwin, who joined the Liberals in June. In the last election, she was the first MP for her party to be elected outside British Columbia – with only two MPs.
Remember thatTo me Paul was elected head of the Green Party last October, with Elizabeth taking over from May.
