Jessica Levinson, a professor at the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, said the latest lawsuit in Pennsylvania was unlikely to succeed and that “the Trump legal team will read out a number of arguments made in and out of court.”

Also on Monday, some Republican state legislators in Pennsylvania called for a “legislature-led audit on the 2020 election and demanded that the election results not be confirmed until the audit is complete, or that voters sit down.”

Pennsylvania House Speaker Brian Cutler, a Republican, said the state governor is confirming the election results and that the legislature will not play an official role.

There were no lectures on how the President should gladly accept the results of the primary election immediately

“The popular vote determines the voters, and the governor who certifies the vote, so the legislators have no role,” Cutler’s spokesman Jason Gottesman said.

In the United States, a candidate becomes president by winning more electoral votes than by winning a majority of the nationally popular vote. Voters usually win the most popular vote in their states. They are scheduled to meet on December 14.

A senior Trump campaign official said the campaign had collected “hundreds” of affidavits from Pennsylvania voters alleging election violations.

The official said the campaign was gathering evidence to make the case that the state election was badly flawed.

Bar’s letter came hours after he met with Republican Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, who said Monday that Trump was in his right to examine claims of “rigging” in the election.
