Keen to take Uber Eats orders: "We're all so confused"

Residents of a Los Angeles neighborhood fed up with fast food orders are demanding answers from Uber Eats.

“We don’t know why this is happening. It’s half fun and half disturbing,” lamented a resident interviewed by Channel KTLA.

Orders from McDonald’s and Starbucks have been arriving by the dozen in front of homes in the northeastern California metropolis since February.

To the great misfortune of the citizens of Highland Park, a lull was marked, before further resumption.

“We had three orders… just fries inside,” said Alison Perrin, dismayed, as her neighbor Richard counted more than 13 bags of food on his doorstep in less than two days.

Purchased through Uber Eats, fraudsters can place mysterious orders to verify the operation of a credit card.

“We were all very confused when it started. We thought it was a bad joke, but if it was a joke, it was very expensive,” exclaims one woman.

A representative of an American company specializing in meal delivery promised to take steps to end unsolicited meal delivery.

She said that she will not hesitate to take action if the unwanted orders continue.

Last March, dozens of Uber Eats orders flooded home entrances in a town on the outskirts of Vancouver.
