A shooter aimed a snow plow at Saint-Calixte

While the vehicle was on the road to clear roads after a hurricane last weekend, a shooter targeted an ice removal device from the municipality of Saint-Calixte from Sunday night to Monday.

In a post on its Facebook page, City said the vehicle and its operator opened fire at 2:35 a.m. as they were clearing snow on Route 335, in the corner of the RDL Hotel de Ville, in the municipality’s residential area.

The bullet tore the left window of the vehicle, as can be seen in the photos below. “The projectile did not hit the operator, but he still suffered a good nervous shock,” City said.

City, frustrated with the crime, offers a $ 1000 reward for information that allows the shooter to be identified. She called on the director general of Saint-Calixte, Matthew-Charles LeBlanc, or anyone who could take the investigation forward to contact Certe du Quebec.

Michael Jasmine, the mayor of Saint-Calixte, was responding to questions from Internet users by informing Cerటేte du Quebec about the crime. Unfortunately, according to him, no camera captured the scene.

“Our road team is doing everything in its power to provide the best services to these citizens. We hope you understand the minimal inconvenience caused by snow removal operations,” City recalled.
